'Cherry Royal' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Cherry Royal') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The coral-pink double flowers are full and symmetrical, and they have no stamens. Gilbert H. Wild & Son bred it in 1967.

Pairs well with New England aster, Lupine, and Sedge.
