Notes

'Cherry Truffle' stonecrop (Hylotelephium maximum 'Cherry Truffle') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the showy flower heads in late summer and fall. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Leave the dried stems standing for winter interest.

Pairs well with Elijah Blue blue fescue, White Swan coneflower, and First Knight fountain grass.
