Notes
'Chesieres La Boheme' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Chesieres La Boheme') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double bright pink flowers have three rows of guard petals and tufted petaloids in the center. A yellow collar of petaloids divides the two pink sections. Over several days, the petals fade to a softer pink and the petaloids turn white.
Pairs well with Japanese spirea, Pink Impression tulip, and White snakeroot.
