Notes
Chinese desert-thorn (Lycium chinense) is a shrub for informal hedges, borders, and slopes. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 36 to 72 inches tall and can spread 36 to 120 inches wide, so give it room. Light purple flowers open in late spring and again from early to late summer.
