Notes

Chinese snowball viburnum (Viburnum macrocephalum) is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows into a rounded form and gets 72 to 120 inches tall and wide. Large white flower clusters appear in spring and again in summer, and butterflies visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Japanese forest grass, and Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta.
