Notes

Chinese trumpet creeper (Campsis grandiflora) is a vine for privacy screens, accents, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Orange-red flowers with yellow throats attract hummingbirds and bees, so give the vine a warm spot with room to ramble. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It clings by aerial roots and is not aggressive like the American trumpet creeper.

Pairs well with Cross vine, Anise hyssop, Knock Out rose, and Sundrops.
