Notes
'Kudian' trumpet creeper (Campsis ×tagliabueana 'Kudian') is a vine for pollinator gardens, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and can climb 12 to 15 feet tall. Yellowish-orange flowers with red throats open from early to late summer and draw hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Clematis, Amur maple, and Lily.
