Notes

Trumpet creeper (Campsis ×tagliabueana) is a vine for pollinator gardens, privacy screens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Orange-red to red flowers open from early to late summer and draw hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It grows fast and tolerates drought and salt, so give it a strong support.

Pairs well with Common milkweed, Big bluestem, and Rose.
