Notes

'Indian Summer' trumpet creeper (Campsis tagliabueana 'Indian Summer') is a vine for borders and xeriscape gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Its orange flowers attract hummingbirds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Give it a warm, sunny spot with room to ramble, and its strong woody stems will climb a trellis, fence, or arbor.

Pairs well with Clematis, Lavender, and Agapanthus.
