Notes

'Madame Galen' trumpet creeper (Campsis ×tagliabueana 'Madame Galen') is a vine for borders, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast and can reach 15 to 25 feet tall. Deep salmon flowers open in summer and again in autumn, and hummingbirds and bees visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Indian grass, Duchesse de Nemours peony, and Garlic chives.
