Notes

Cinquefoil (Potentilla alba) is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows 3 to 9 inches tall and bears white flowers in spring and again in summer. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Drought tolerance makes it easy to keep.

Pairs well with September Charm anemone, Sweet woodruff, and Ornamental onion.
