Notes

Pink cinquefoil (Potentilla hopwoodiana) is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer and grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Husker Red beardtongue, and Feather reed grass.
