Notes

Nepalese cinquefoil (Potentilla nepalensis) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and butterflies visit the flowers. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide, and it tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Cupid's dart, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Sea holly.
