Notes
'Claire Dubois' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Claire Dubois') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Double pink blooms with a mauve tint open in late spring on stiff stems. The petals have crisp, serrated edges, and the cut flowers keep well. Crousse bred it.
Pairs well with Rose, Sensitive fern, and Blue sage.
