Notes

'Clarice' peony (Paeonia 'Clarice') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The deep pink single cup blooms are 4 inches wide, with a puff of yellow stamens in the center. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, PowWow White coneflower, Blue grama, and Black Hero tulip.
