Notes

'Clarity' peony (Paeonia 'Clarity') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The rose red flowers have dark flares and open in early to late spring, and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Paris coral bells, Foxglove, and Lily.
