Notes

'Claudius' peony (Paeonia 'Claudius') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink, fragrant flowers open in spring and fade to light pink at the petal edges. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The upright stems stand on their own, so you do not need to stake them.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, PowWow White coneflower, and Blue grama.
