Notes
'Cleveland Bigarreau' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Cleveland Bigarreau') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. The columnar form fits smaller spaces. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms from early to late spring. It is grown for eating fresh, and it is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for pollination.
Pairs well with Paper birch, Thalia daffodil, and Hosta.
