Notes

'Clio' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Clio') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, single, light pink flowers open in early to mid spring. The cut stems keep well in a vase, and the dark green leaves grow on stout red stems. William A. Peterson bred it.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Sedge.
