Notes

'Clovelly' rose (Rosa 'Clovelly') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright plant has fragrant carmine-pink blooms with salmon-pink shading, and bees visit them. It flowers in late spring, again from early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Elisha J. Hicks bred it in 1925.

Pairs well with Lanceleaf coreopsis, Jackmanii clematis, and Fountain grass.
