Notes

'Clump of Color' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Clump of Color') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The red Japanese type flowers come several to a stem, and the strong stems are self supporting. It grows 32 to 36 inches tall and blooms for an extended period. Roger F. Anderson bred it in 1989.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Ostrich fern, Sedge, and African marigold.
