Notes

'Color Magnet' peony (Paeonia 'Color Magnet') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Strong, upright stems hold large, fragrant pink flowers close to the bush, and bees and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Hollingsworth Nursery introduced it in 1994.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, Nodding onion, and Blue grama.
