Notes

Columbine (Aquilegia glandulosa) is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Blue and white flowers open in mid to late spring on plants 9 to 12 inches tall and 6 to 9 inches wide. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Plant it near the front of a bed so the blooms are easy to see.

Pairs well with Black Hero tulip, Alexander Fleming peony, and Tall fescue.
