Comet snowdrop

Notes

'Comet' snowdrop (Galanthus 'Comet') is a bulb for woodland gardens, naturalizing, and early color under trees. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade. Large white flowers have long outer petals and a bold inverted U on the inner petals. They hang above bluish green leaves and bloom in late winter, often breaking through the snow. Plants reach about 10 inches high.

Pairs well with Frances Williams hosta, Paul Scherer tulip, and Piilu clematis.
