Notes
'Piilu' clematis (Clematis 'Piilu') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The pink flowers have a darker center and open in spring, summer, and autumn, drawing butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
Pairs well with Alina rose, Lanceleaf coreopsis, Immortality iris, and Wide Brim hosta.
