Notes

Common wayfaring tree (Viburnum lantana) is a shrub for borders, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Dense growth carries blue-green leaves, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the cream and white blooms. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Siberian bugloss, Snake's head, and Indian grass.
