Notes

'Concord' fox grape (Vitis labrusca 'Concord') is a vine for fragrant screening, bee and bird attraction, and covering arbors. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Greenish flowers open in late spring, and the vine can climb 15 to 20 feet tall. Bees visit the blooms and birds come for the fruit. Give it a strong support to hold its spread.

Pairs well with Kudzu vine, Feather reed grass, and Viburnum.
