Notes

'Cooper' rose (Rosa 'Cooper') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium red blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and in early autumn, and bees visit the flowers. Michael C. Williams bred it in 2008.

Pairs well with Virginia sweetspire, Fountain grass, Green Velvet buxus, and Stained Glass hosta.
