Notes

'Coral Star' peony (Paeonia 'Coral Star') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its ruffled blooms open cream with pink shading in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Blue star, Elegans hosta, and The President clematis.
