Notes
'Coral Surprise' peony (Paeonia 'Coral Surprise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows 26 to 28 inches tall with clean, light green foliage and fragrant, coral-pink single flowers. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Charles Klehm and Son Nursery introduced it in 1985.
Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Black Parrot tulip, and Sedge.
