Notes

'Corbett' eastern columbine (Aquilegia canadensis 'Corbett') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It forms a clumping mound with pale yellow flowers in early to late spring, and hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Nodding onion, Sedge, and Magnus coneflower.
