Notes

'Corinth' peony (Paeonia 'Corinth') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, double flowers are light crimson, almost scarlet, and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Saunders bred it, and its good stems hold the blooms well.

Pairs well with June hosta, Nodding onion, Prairie dropseed, and Baby's breath.
