Notes

'Cornell Pink' rhododendron (Rhododendron mucronulatum 'Cornell Pink') is a shrub for borders, specimens, accents, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It bears fragrant rose to purple flowers that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Plant it in acid soil and give it time, since it grows slowly. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Witch hazel, Paris coral bells, Primrose, and Switchgrass.
