Notes

Rhododendron (Rhododendron hybrids) is a shrub for shade gardens, woodland, borders, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers, and the evergreen leaves stay on the shrub all year.

Pairs well with Foam flower, Japanese forest grass, and Paperbark maple.
