Notes

Corydalis (Corydalis ochroleuca) is a perennial for borders and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Fragrant, creamy white flowers with yellow centers appear over a long season above filigree foliage, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Self-sown seedlings return each spring and are easy to control.

Pairs well with Hardy geranium, Rainbow's End hosta, and Greig's tulip.
