Notes

Fumewort (Corydalis ambigua) is a bulb for woodland gardens, borders, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil. Its clear blue to pale violet flowers open from early to late spring. The blooms look more lavender blue in shade and brighter blue in more sun. Plan for the plant to go dormant by summer.
