Notes
Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster cochleatus) is a shrub for ground cover and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It stays 6 to 12 inches tall and spreads 12 to 72 inches, so give it room to roam. White flowers open in late spring and early summer.
Pairs well with Rock rose, Prairie dropseed, and Comfrey.
Native range
China and Tibet.
