Notes

'Country Sunset' peony (Paeonia 'Country Sunset') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its rose pink blooms over cream open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Balloon flower, and Greig's tulip.
