Notes

'Crimson Tide' peony (Paeonia 'Crimson Tide') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deep red, semi-double flowers open in early to late spring, and the blue-green leaves are flushed in red early in the season. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Nate Bremer bred it.

Pairs well with Balloon flower, Culver’s root, and Grape hyacinth.
