Notes

Crinum lily (Crinum campanulatum) is a bulb for containers, pond edges, and fragrant summer color. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil. Pink flowers open in early to late summer and deepen in color as they age. You can set the pot in a saucer of water or plant it at a pond margin, then let the soil dry out in winter.

Pairs well with Royal fern, Evergold sedge, and Yarrow.
