Notes

Florida swamp lily (Crinum americanum) is a bulb for borders, rain gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to wet soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The fragrant white flowers sometimes blush pink and draw butterflies, bees, and birds. It freezes back in winter, but it greens up again right away.

Pairs well with Calla lily, Sweet bay magnolia, and Lemongrass.
