Notes

'Cupressina' Norway spruce (Picea abies 'Cupressina') is a tree for borders, specimen plantings, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a rapid rate into a narrow cone and attracts birds. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Give it room to reach its full height.

Pairs well with Maidenhair tree, Winterberry, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
