Notes

'Nidiformis' Norway spruce (Picea abies 'Nidiformis') is a shrub for borders, specimens, accents, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays evergreen all year and draws birds. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows quickly into a conical shape.

Pairs well with Berry Poppins winterberry, Mount Hood daffodil, Honey Gold peony, and Foxtail barley.
