Notes

'Little Gem' Norway spruce (Picea abies 'Little Gem') is a shrub for borders, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. This conical evergreen grows rapidly and attracts birds. Its shape adds interest in winter.

Pairs well with Berry Poppins winterberry, Maiden pink, and Mount Hood daffodil.
