Notes

'Dainty' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Dainty') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large single flowers have two rows of wide light pink petals with silvery shading and a yellow center. The color pales to a halo around the stamens and does not fade.

Pairs well with Lupine, Phantom panicle hydrangea, and Cinnamon fern.
