Notes

'Daisy B.' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Daisy B.') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large white blooms look like huge roses, with rose-pink edges on the sepals and a light pink center. The petals curve back slightly, and the stems are stiff. Nicholls bred it, and Gilbert H. Wild and Son introduced it in 1957.

Pairs well with Lupine, Phantom panicle hydrangea, and Cinnamon fern.
