Notes

'Dakota Girl' peony (Paeonia 'Dakota Girl') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Large, fragrant flowers open cream with rose-pink shading and maroon flares. Nate Bremer bred it. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Sweet William, Niobe clematis, and Queen of Night tulip.
