Notes

'Dakota Princess' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Dakota Princess') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The light pink double flowers open in late spring and have no fragrance. Blooms can grow large, so you may need to stake the stems. Ben Gilbertson bred it.

Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Sensitive fern, and Limeglow creeping juniper.
