Notes
'Damian Janus' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Damian Janus') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is a soft-pink double mutation of 'Tokio'. It is a vigorous grower and one of the latest peonies to bloom. Julian L. Janus bred it.
Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Solomon's seal, Hummingbird sweet pepperbush, and Spanish bluebell.
