Notes

'Dandy' tulip (Tulipa 'Dandy') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open in early to late spring and stand about 8 inches tall. Each bloom is carmine rose outside with yellow edges. Inside, the petals are veined scarlet on yellow, and the leaves are mottled.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Lemon Chiffon peony, and Lanceleaf coreopsis.
